STRICTLY Come Dancing 2020’s line up have been dancing their socks off to impress the judges – but after last night’s live show, one pair must go home.
In week two of Strictly, former home secretary Jacqui Smith became the first celeb contestant to be voted off.
Last week, it was the end of the road for US sporting hero Jason Bell, who performed a Star Wars-themed dance for the movie-themed week.
The Sun exclusively revealed that Katya Jones, tested positive for coronavirus, meaning she and her celebrity partner Nicola Adam were withdrawing from the show.

CANCEL TONIGHT’S ELIMINATION…
…say disgruntled fans who are mad that Katya and Nicola were disqualified from the show.
Katya tested positive for Covid this week which means she can’t continue on Strictly due to its strict safety protocols.
But angry viewers are saying the elimination should be cancelled tonight.
They argue it’s not fair for another couple to go home, when there’s already one less couple this week.
“Why is someone leaving tomorrow if Nicola and Katya has to leave??” one fan said on Twitter.
It might be unfair to the other dancers, but it sure makes Sunday night more interesting with the elimination shows.

ANTON’S THE ONE I WANT
Professional dancer Anton Du Beke made quite the impression as a judge on last night’s Strictly.
Anton waltzed in to fill the judges’ seat of Motsi Mabuse who had to make make an urgent trip home to Germany.
The 54-year-old ballroom dancer wowed Strictly fans with his “funny and genuine” critique.
They’re now calling for him to become a permanent judge and he sure has enough time on his hands after being ousted in the first week alongside his celeb, former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith.
Anton is definitely a star, both on and off the dance floor, but I think I love Motsi too much to see her replaced. Maybe they could just add another judge’s chair?

I’M STILL DANCING
One more couple will leave Strictly tonight but here who is left before tonight’s elimination:

*Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer
*War hero JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden
*Comedian Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse
*BBC radio presenter Clara Amfo and Aljaž Škorjanec

*Caroline Quentin and Johannes Radebe
WHO HAS LEFT STRICTLY SO FAR?
It’s been a very tumultuous week in Strictly land starting with Katya and Nicola’s disqualification due to the former’s positive Covid result.
But who is still around and who has already left Strictly 2020?
NFL star Jason Bell left Strictly Come Dancing in week three and became the second celebrity to leave the show.
Jason and partner Luba Mushtuk were ordered off the dancefloor on Sunday November 8, 2020.
In week one, former home secretary Jacqui Smith and her pro partner Anton Du Beke were given the boot.
Finally, the show’s first same-sex pairing were given their marching orders after Katya tested positive for the coronavirus.
STRICTLY RECORD BREAKING
This year’s Strictly has been smashing viewing records all over the place and it’s only getting more popular.
The launch episode was watched by an average of about 8.6 million with the highest number of viewers hitting 9million.
But last night’s show has gone even higher than that and had 10.6million Brits tuning in.
Sure, it might have something to do with the fact we’re all stuck at home now with not much to do, but it’s still pretty incredible given how many different TV options we have nowdays.
NOT LONG NOW
The Strictly Come Dancing results show will be kicking off soon.
Tess and Claudia will be revealing who’s in the bottom two and the judges will cast their votes, sending one pair home.
Tune in at 7.25pm on BBC One.

Theatres across the country may still be closed thanks to coronavirus restrictions, so the pressure was on for Strictly Come Dancing to deliver on Musicals Week. And with no couples scoring under 20 points, it’s safe to say it exceeded expectations.
Pop star HRVY shot back to the top of the leaderboard, despite never having seen the musical on which his performance was based, A Chorus Line. His partner Janette Marara quickly rectified that during rehearsals and their American smooth to “One (Singular Sensation)” from the show earned them an impressive 29 points.
“We knew on week one what a fabulous talent you were, but what I celebrate is you do not sit on your talent,” judge Motsi Mabuse told the 21-year-old. “I think this was the dance of the season, the dance of the decade.”© Provided by The i HRVY and Janette Manrara wowed with their performance (Photo: BBC/Guy Levy)
Maisie Smith and her partner Gorka Marquez also pleased the judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Mabuse – with their jive to “Little Shop Of Horrors” from the show of the same name. They came second in the final rankings, with a total of 28 points including a 10 from Ballas.
It was JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden who brought up the rear with 20 points. Opening the show with a charleston to “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” from the stage production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the couple received tough criticism from the judges and eventually found themselves in the bottom two and in the dance off.
They were joined by Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing and his professional partner Karen Hauer, whose jive to “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” from the musical of the same name landed them in joint fourth place along with Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.
However, it was to be Chalmer’s turn to exit the series after the judges failed to save him in the dance off. Mabuse tried her best to save the Invictus Games champion, saying: “I actually think we saw two different dancing styles which both have their own qualities; both energetic, both so great at this dance off – very difficult decision. I saw a little hiccup with one dance, so I’m saving JJ and Amy.”
But she was outvoted by Ballas, who praised Laing’s “sheer determination” and Revel Horwood, who said: “I think both couples danced to the best of their abilities and both couples upped their game considerably.”
When asked about his time in the competition, Chalmers said: “I’m unbelievably proud. I never thought I would make it this far, I’ve gotten half decent maybe at something which I had no clue about to begin with and I’ve enjoyed every second of it, it has just been an absolute blast. It’s just a privilege to be in this long. I mean this competition is insane! To be counted among that cast at this stage in particular means the world to me. It’s meant everything. It’s been an unbelievable challenge, well outside my comfort zone but I’ve had this one [Amy] to just keep me in it and I can’t quite express what she means to me.© Provided by The i JJ Chalmers and Amy Dowden performed a charleston to “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” (Photo: Guy Levy/BBC)
She’s lived through so much in her own right in fairness and I know that any day she can wake up and she could be hospitalised essentially so she lives fearing she’ll let people down. But the way you’ve built me up, you could never let me down.”
Dowden was more than happy to return the compliment, adding: “It has been an absolute honour to be your partner and most importantly friend, throughout your Strictly experience. He is, and everybody would agree, one of the world’s most truest gentlemen. I honestly believe from working with JJ over the last few months I’ve become a better person and I’ve learned so much. The way he faces challenges with such strength and determination, you have helped me for the rest of my life on how to face my own personal challenges. And honestly I’m so proud of every single step you’ve performed on this floor, I just had the best time.
I didn’t think I could possibly fall in love with Strictly any more and this year my heart is just beaming full of Strictly and that’s down to absolutely everybody and I love you all.”This week’s leaderboardResults Of Strictly Tonight Primetime
